X-rays
Dental X-rays show what we can't see by looking — decay between teeth, the roots, the bone and teeth that haven't come through yet.
Types of X-ray we take
- Intra-oral X-rays — small images of a few teeth at a time, for checking decay and roots
- OPG — a single panoramic image of your whole mouth and jaw, useful for wisdom teeth and implant planning
Only when they're needed
We take X-rays only when they'll help with a diagnosis or treatment plan, and we use digital X-rays, which use a low dose of radiation. Let us know if you're pregnant or might be.
